RTX Mega Geometry is engineered to handle intricate geometric detail by utilizing nested triangle clusters. This approach is reminiscent of the Mega Textures technology but focuses on geometry rather than textures. By organizing geometry into clusters, Mega Geometry reduces the video memory requirements and lowers the hardware cost associated with ray intersection calculations.
