GIGABYTE Unveils GeForce RTX 5060 Ti EAGLE OC Graphics Card

On April 15, GIGABYTE officially revealed their latest graphics card model, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti EAGLE OC. Just two days later, the company's PR team shared more detailed information about the product. Describing the EAGLE series as inspired by aerospace battleships and sci-fi elements, they highlighted its appeal to sci-fi enthusiasts and younger users. The graphics cards are not just components, but are likened to battleships within a system, enhancing the overall aesthetic and immersive experience.

While the press release did not provide specific technical details, reviewers have found that GIGABYTE has incorporated a shorter PCB design into the new EAGLE model's dual-fan enclosure.

Germany's HardwareLuxx received samples of the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti EAGLE OC 16 GB SKU, MSI's GAMING TRIO model, and PALIT's Infinity 3 card for evaluation. Andreas Schilling, the site's editor, was impressed by the compact size of the EAGLE card, both externally and internally. The card measures 215 mm and features an 8-pin connector positioned behind the slot cover, a unique placement for additional power supply. The short PCI Express connector is another standout feature, made possible by the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti's eight-lane interface.

GIGABYTE is expected to use the compact PCB layout in their new WINDFORCE options, both standard and overclocked. It is believed that the shorter design will be reserved for dual-fan cards, while triple-fan cooled cards will have the regular length board and connector. Even the upcoming GeForce RTX 5060 OC Low Profile 8G model, measuring 182 mm, will stick with a "full-sized" PCIe interface.
