Ryzen 5 7600X3D Review
German retailer Mindfactory.de has listed the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, leading European hardware reviewers to test the chip on their Socket AM5 test beds. PCGH is one of the first reviewers to share their findings. The main question everyone is asking is "how well does it perform in gaming?" PCGH has good news - the processor is very fast in gaming and even outperforms the 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X "Zen 5" chip by 6% in gaming benchmarks. It is also 9% slower than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which is currently the top performer.
Surpassing the 9700X means that the Ryzen 5 7600X3D is faster than all other Ryzen 9000 series processors, including the flagship Ryzen 9 9950X. It is 11% faster than the 9950X in gaming. When compared to Intel processors, the 7600X3D is slightly slower than the Core i5-13600K by 1% and the i5-14600K by 2%. These were the processors the 7600X3D aimed to beat in gaming performance, so there is some disappointment among enthusiasts. The success of the 7600X3D will depend on its wider availability and pricing.
